House builder John Maunders has unveiled a 10 per cent rise in pre-tax profits to £4.01 million for the year ending June (1991: £3.63 million), thanks to lower interest charges.But chairman John Maunders warned he saw no improvement in the economic climate in the current year.The North West-based firm increased its legal completions to 783 from 695, although the average selling price fell by 16 per cent to £65,900 from £78,300 last time.
