Robert Carlson has been appointed chief executive officer of the Tenneco subsidiary. He is also to be elected to the Tenneco board of directors. He takes over from James Ashford who resigned in April 'for personal reasons.'Mr Carlson, 61, began his professional career with Deere and Co, where he spent 29 years, serving latterly as a senior vice president and member of the board of directors.
