When it came down to it, the Irish Kentz Corporation survived because it had some pretty powerful friends. Like God, for instance. Or at least, some of his/her employees. When the Irish High Court was trying to decide whether the Corporation should go into receivership or the far more pleasant examinership, Kentz received public backing from the Dominican Sisters and the Sisters of Charity (both former clients) and, from across the religious divide, some current clients in the Middle East. All of which is rather appropriate for a group which always seemed to move in mysterious ways.
