By Margo Cole.Great Belt contractor MT Group is collaborating with the client Storebaelt in a £10 million plan to dewater the ground for the east tunnel. Trials have just started off the west coast of Zealand, Denmark and further wet at one of the twin tunnel's cross passages.If the trials are successful a full scale scheme is planned to dewater the marl layer by installing 36 wells into the limestone 70m down.
