The latest shear and nibbler tools from Robert Bosch have motors with higher power outputs than its previous models and design changes making them easier to operate. Both the GCS 1.6 shear and the GNA 1.3 nibbler have 350 W motors to give more power for sheet metal working. They have large on/off switches on the underside of the motor to make them easy to operate. Both are available in 110 and 240 V versions. The shear is designed to negotiate tight curves and its reciprocating blades can be adapted to suit most materials. A built-in swarf deflector protects the operator's hands. Its no load stroke rate is 3,000/min, it has a cutting depth (in steel) of 1.6 mm and weighs 1.4 kg.The 360 deg turning circle of the nibbler's cutting punch combined with an automatically pivoting die, allow curved cut-outs to be made without turning the tool. The GNA 1.3 nibbler has a no load stroke rate of 1.550/min, a cutting depth (in steel) of 1.3mm and weights 1.6 kg.
