Nuclear waste company Nirex is to call on Swedish expertise to help it draw up a safety strategy for the planned £3,000 million nuclear waste repository at Sellafield.Nirex signed an agreement last week with the firm Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management SKB to collaborate in the Aspo Hard Rock Laboratory.The laboratory is to be excavated 500 m beneath the island of Aspo, near Oskarshamn nuclear power plant in southern Sweden.A spokesman for Nirex said: 'We believe there are ...
