£25 million sports arena to come to market

Derby City council will shortly be inviting bids for a £40m sports arena next to Pride Park football stadium.

Under plans submitted to the council by architecture practice, FaulknerBrowns, the scheme will include a 250m indoor cycling track, 1.5km outdoor cycle circuit, and a gym.

The scheme, at PQQ stage, is due to go onsite in June.
