25Jun92 JAPAN: ROADBUILDERS SHARE PRICES JUMP AS GOVERNMENT TALKS OF ROADBUILDING BONANZA.

Roads Boom: Japan should spend 80,000,000 million yen (£340,000 million) on road construction over the next five years, the vice president of Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic party said. The comments, to a group of construction industry chiefs, immediately led to an increase in the share price of some of the country's leading road builders. These includes Nippon Hodo, Toa Doro Kogyo, Maeda Road Construction and Nippon Road. CONSTRUCTION NEWS
