More than 40,000 cu m of concrete containing 30 per cent pulverised fuel ash from Ash Resources has gone into Thames Water's new £55 million Ashford Common water treatment works. The concrete was placed over 12 months. Main contractor is Taylor Woodrow. CONSTRUCTION NEWS
