Laing Special Projects will start phase two of its £65 million special housing project in the London borough of Hackney early next year.Phases 1A and 1B are now in full swing and set for completion in February and October respectively. This first part of the scheme will see 160 units completed.The next part of the five-phase project will involve the construction of a nursery, creche, and another tranche of housing designed for elderly residents.The borough council and the Circle 33 housing association are the clients for the redevelopment, which will eventually provide almost 1,100 houses for sale and rent after the six-year construction period.
