Wimpey Construction has won three contracts together worth £22 million. The largest is a £9 million contract to build a factory and offices for ASAT (UK) at Blackwood, in Gwent. The second is a £7 million surfacing contract on a 7.3 km stretch of the M8 Edinburgh bypass at Claylands. Again in Wales, Tesco Supermarkets has appointed the contractor to build a £6 million store at Aberdare. CONSTRUCTION NEWS
