27Jan94 UK: M11 SITE STORMED BY ANTI-ROADS PROTESTERS.

Anti-roads campaigners stormed a Norwest Holst site on Sunday.They were protesting against plans to demolish six Edwardian homes in Wanstead, east London to make way for the M11 link road.A group broke away from the 300-strong demo and climbed the site perimeter fences before occupying mechanical diggers.Nine people were arrested and five charged with various public order offences.
