By Bill Fishlock.One hopeful sign recently has been a revival of visits by parties of stockbrokers' analysts to the European operations of the larger materials producers.Hepworth and BPB have hosted such visits to their French businesses. And last week a trip by analysts to RMC's giant Rudersdorfer cement works outside Berlin proved nicely timed when the Bundesbank obliged with an unexpected half per cent cut in interest rates.Less fortunate was a party assembled last Thursday to visit Wolseley's French subsidiary Brossette, around Lyons. Thanks to the industrial strife consuming Air France, the group never got beyond Heathrow. CONSTRUCTION NEWS
