28Oct93 UK: UNLAWFUL KILLING CASE RETURNS TO THE CPS.

The coroner at the inquest into the deaths of Nicholas Scott and Frank Warren has written to the Crown Prosecution Service following last week's verdict that the men were unlawfully killed.They were crushed to death in June last year when a British Rail bridge in south London suddenly collapsed during demolition work.The verdict means that coroner Sir Montague Levine must refer the case back to the CPS.But the CPS said it would not prosecute anyone from contractor Tilbury Douglas or ...
