Trafalgar House/John Brown Engineering has taken a £5 million contract from Severn Trent for a new water treatment works at Church Wilne, Nottinghamshire.Work at the dissolved air flotation plant has just started and will last for around 68 weeks.Trafalgar House Construction will carry out all the civils and building work on the scheme.This includes constructing five reinforced concrete tanks enclosed in a steel frame building which will also house plant and control room for the tanks, capable of dealing with 40 megalitres of water a day.John Brown will be responsible for the process design and providing the flotation tank technology.
