29Oct92 UK: CLANCY TURNS UP BACKHOE POWER.

A West Midlands plant hire firm, Michael Clancy, has increased the versatility of its 3CX backhoe loaders by fitting a more powerful alternator and an extra power take-off.The 130 amp alternator replaces a 65 amp unit and allows Clancy to run arc welding equipment, drills, or extra lighting without the need for an additional generator.Additional hydraulic pipework means the machine can run hand-held hammers, disc cutters or submersible pumps as the machine is in operation. But despite the modifications, the 3CX can still be used for digging.
