29Oct92 UK: CONTRACT - MANSFIELD, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE; MOWLEM NORTHERN CIVIL ENGINEERING.

JOB: Contract for a new water reclamation works at Shirebrook, near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The contract is in two parts, the first 52 weeks will see the construction of inlet works, sedimentation tanks, filter beds, humus tanks, storm tanks together with ancillary pumping chambers and pipework. After mechanical engineers have been on site the existing works will be demolished over a further ten week period.TIME PERIOD: Completion is due in October 1993.CONTRACTOR: Mowlem Northern Civil Engineering.AWARDED BY: Severn Trent Water.VALUE: £2.5 million.
