A Plant supplies Norwest Holst for DLR job

Equipment firm A-Plant has supplied a complex of Eco accommodation units to Norwest Holst, which is converting a section of the North London rail line into the Docklands Light Railway.

The units, which will be used as offices and canteens, include passive infrared lights and double glazing to help developers in Stratford work in a more environmentally friendly way.

Among the projects in Stratford by Norwest Holst is a £20 million contract that involves the enclosure of a 350 metre section of the rail line that will serve Stratford International Station and Stratford Station.

The work involves re-routing trackside cabling that will allow a reinforced concrete structure to be built to support the new £4 billion Stratford City mixed-use development.
