Access growth

PLANT - BUSINESS

Analyst AMA Research forecasts that the UK access equipment market, from platforms to scaffolding, will reach £267 million in the next three years. In its 2004 report on the state of the market, the analyst says it expects the market to grow by 2-3 per cent a year, with work at height legislation boosting access towers and platforms. Ladders are expected to grow marginally, thanks to DIY growth.
