ANALYSTS are expecting Alfred McAlpine to shed some light on who will fill three senior roles at the firm when its 2004 results come out next week.
The board has more non-executive directors sitting on it than executives, who currently number three - chief executive Ian Grice, finance director Dominic Lavelle and capital projects director Matt Swan.
Former board director and the ex-boss of its infrastructure services business Peter Carolan left in December after carrying the can for a series of problems at the division, which is undergoing a £6 million restructuring.Mr Carolan's role has since been carried out by Phil Price.
The future of Billy Allen, managing director of McAlpine's business services arm, remains unclear after he took a sabbatical last autumn.
Mr Allen, who joined McAlpine in 2002 when the firm bought facilities management firm Stiell, was not a board member and his day-to-day duties have been performed by Craig McGilvray.
A replacement for former group company secretary Garry Forster, who left in November, is understood to have been found, although no announcement has been made.
A McAlpine spokesman said: 'There will be an announcement on the positions next week.'McAlpine's 2004 results are due to be published next Thursday.
