ALLENBUILD has nabbed a £15 million university deal in West Yorkshire. The Leeds-based team, part of the Montpellier group, saw off traditional rivals HBG and Totty as well as local outfit Quarmby for work at Bradford University.
The three-year framework agreement includes new build and refurbishment projects with a minimum value of £5 million per annum.
That figure could rise as and when work is required. Allenbuild will be on site next April and will start the deal with a £6 million cancer research centre.
nGalliford Try, Norwest Holst, Laing O'Rourke, Mansell, Shepherd and Warings are all chasing a £20 million student accommodation deal near London.The winning team will build 640 shared flats for Brunel University in Uxbridge.
