Amlwch County Council to unveil regeneration plans

Plans to regenerate an old industrial town in Anglesey, north Wales, will be unveiled by the county council tomorrow.

The proposal for Amlwch will include a new civic hub at Amlwch Port Square and the redevelopment of the port area and quayside.

Economic development portfolio holder, councillor Bryan Owen, explained: "We're eager to see Amlwch achieve its economic potential through a series of planned improvements."

The plans will be out to public consultation until 12 December.
