Arup and Jacobs to consult on Forth bridge

A joint venture of Arup and Jacobs has been announced as the preferred bidder for the project consultancy to build the new Forth bridge.

Transport Scotland made the appointment for the team, which also includes Dissing & Weitling, EC Harris and Flint & Neill Partnership.

The contract is expected to be worth £100 million over the life of the project and the core team will be located in Transport Scotland’s Glasgow headquarters.
