Babcock & Brown sell LIFT interests

Primary care infrastructure firm Ashley House has agreed with Babcock & Brown to take a controlling interest in seven NHS Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) schemes.

The acquisistion will give Ashley House the opportunity to deliver design, development and construction services to the seven LIFTCos, which have an identified pipeline of £300 million development costs over the next three years.

The LIFTCos are Oxford; East London; Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich; Wolverhampton and Walsall; Bristol; Dudley; and Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon.

In January 2007, Buckinghamshire-based Ashley House was admitted to the Alternative Investment Market and completed a strategic alliance with Babcock & Brown.
