The Scottish Executive has given planning approval for a £6 million children's hospice in Loch Lomond National Park. Work on the 2,800 sq m scheme at Ledrishbeg Farm, Balloch, is due to start in spring and finish in 2004. A contractor will be appointed by the Children's Hospice Association Scotland in the next few weeks.
