Balfour Kilpatrick wins £4.3m college deal

Balfour Kilpatrick has secured a £4.3 million contract for the supply and installation of mechanical building services to the new Anniesland College Hatfield Campus in Glasgow.

Services to be provided by the firm – which is the multi services and power systems arm of Balfour Beatty – include low temperature hot water heating systems, a chilled water system, close control installation and various supply and extract systems.

Anniesland College is undertaking a rebuild of its existing Hatfield Drive campus. It will be constructed by contractor HBG Construction in two phases over the next three years.

Balfour Kilpatrick will start on site in March 2008.
