Balfour names new legal head

FTSE 250 builder Balfour Beatty has named Chris Vaughn, the former deputy legal chief of brewing giant SABMiller, as its new legal head.

Vaughn will be the London-based group's first general counsel, heading a team of 30 lawyers worldwide.

Existing Balfour Beatty head of legal services Grank McCormack will stay with the company, reporting to Vaughn.
