Balfour OK

Balfour Beatty has been given the go ahead to start work on a £115 million project to build an underground ticket hall at King's Cross railway station in London. The firm was appointed preferred bidder in 2002 but work has been held up because of funding problems. Construction for Metronet Rail will start this summer and finish in 2010.
