Bard theatre offers revamp contracts

The Royal Shakespeare Company is seeking contracts to build a flat roof at its theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The work, up to a value of £1 million, is part of a larger project to replace the existing RST auditorium, improving the scale and clarity of Foyer spaces and re-planning the back of the accommodation.

A separate job at the Grade II theatre has also been listed in the Official Journal to provide zinc roofing and walling up to a value of £1.5 million.

Contractors have until 19 February to submit their bids for the first job and until 26 February for the second.
