Barhale cuts plant jobs after reorganisation

BARHALE has axed 30 jobs following a restructuring of its plant operation.

Control of construction machinery used on Barhale jobs across the UK will now be centred at the firm's head office in Walsall rather than regionally.

A company spokesman said: 'These changes are designed to simplify and streamline operations. Civils/utilities plant, was previously managed separately.

'Plant will continue to be strategically located, and maintained, around the country.

'The structural changes mean the number of people employed in this part of the business is being reduced by about 30, with some redundancies and some team members moving to other departments.'
