Barn death

A 63-year-old builder fell to his death last week at a barn conversion in Birmingham.The unnamed man was fixing guttering from a scaffold platform when he fell 2 m to the ground.

He died at the scene from severe head injuries.The two contractors on site were Warwickshire-based Graham Martyn Builders and Period Property Renovations.The HSE and police are carrying out a joint investigation.
