Barratt overhauls management

House builder Barratt is shaking up its management structure with the promotion of three directors to more strategic roles.
Chairman Charles Toner announced that executive directors Steven Boyes,

Clive Fenton and Geoff Hester will now report to the group's board as the respective heads of the company's northern and southern operating areas and of its KingsOak operation.

The move allows Barratt to promote some of its best divisional managing directors to regional chairman.

Mr Toner told the company's AGM: 'This provides vital career development opportunities for the next generation of executive management.'
