Bellway submits Lambeth plans

Bellway Homes has sent in plans to Lambeth Borough Council for a 115 flat development at a former hospital site in south London.

The house builder wants to build the homes at the largely derelict Lambeth Hospital site. The focal point of the site is a Victorian Water Tower which will be extended and refurnished to become a high end residence.

Around 10 per cent of the units are designed for wheel chair users and all are designed as Lifetime Homes. Bellway is hoping work can begin this April.
