BEST STROKE: Concrete admixture systems and sealants from Cambridge firm the David Ball Group have helped retain water at a 25 m, eight-lane pool in Fulham, west London for leisure chain Holmes Place. Waterproofing admixtures from the group were added to concrete mixtures provided by London Concrete for the walls, floor, surface slabs and undercroft of the pool. Another David Ball sealant was used to seal construction joints in the concrete structure from Hiretest. The sealant was installed by RPS.
