Best to be laid to rest in Belfast

The body of football legend George Best will today make its final journey back to his native city of Belfast.
Exactly a week after the Manchester United and Northern Ireland soccer great died, his remains will be flown home in a small private chartered plane to RAF Aldergrove, ahead of a funeral ceremony at Stormont tomorrow.

Police were preparing to mount one of the biggest security operations the city has ever seen as family, friends and admirers of Best headed to Belfast to pay their last respects to one of the greatest players football has ever seen.
