Bids invited for Leeds Uni refurb

The University of Leeds is inviting bids for the refurbishment and replanning of parts of its chemistry building.

Worth £4.5 million the job will see transformation works carried out to the basement, first and second floors of the structure to provide academic, administration and speciliast laboratory space.

The project will be split into three phases and is planned to commence on site in early 2009, with completion in late 2010.

Up to six firms will be shortlisted for the work, with deadline for entries on 22 September.
