Bids invited for primary schools build

West Dunbartonshire Council is inviting bids to build two new primary schools at Clydebank and Bonhill.

The school at Bonhill will be a single storey building. Also included in the package is road works, car parking and landscaping.

At Clydebank work will include the demolition of the existing school and the construction of a new two storey building as well as road works, car parking and landscaping.

The job, worth £11 million, is expected to take 15 months and interested parties have until 15 December to submit bids.

Up to seven teams will be shortlisted for the project.
