Birmingham chooses two bidders for BSF

Bovis Lend Lease’s Catalyst consortium will face a team led by Land Securities Trillium for Birmingham City Council’s £2 billion Building Schools for the Future programme.

The pair have been chosen at the expense of Galliford Try to submit final bids in July for the deal to redevelop 76 secondary schools in the city.

A preferred bidder will be chosen in September with the deal set to be signed by the end of the year.

Bids from Balfour Beatty and Interserve fell by the wayside earlier on in the bid process.
