Birmingham's 50-storey tower gets go ahead

Planning permission has been granted for Birmingham's tallest residential tower

Developer/contractor Dandara will start building work on its V Tower project in early 2008 after it was approved this morning (October 4) by Birmingham City Council.

The 50 storey 147m scheme will be built on the Arena Central site on the corner of Broad Street and Suffolk Street Queensway in the city, and will include 706 apartments along with bars restaurants and shops.
