Bobcat opens in the midlands

Bobcat will celebrate the official opening of its new Midlands branch later this month it announced at the show, which has been opened to help the company improve its UK operations.

Philip English, the company’s regional manager for Northern Europe said, “We’re really focused now on getting our share in the UK market.” The new branch will be run by Graham Haigh, and will also provide a single point of contact for national accounts sales and service.

Bobcat, which was bought by Doosan in 2007, also launched some new products at SED, including the E08 and E10 micro-excavators. Mr English said: “The 1.82m max digging depth is good for such a small machine.”
