Bobcat ups stakes for its Toolcat

COMPACT equipment specialist Bobcat has launched a turbo version of its Toolcat utility vehicle.

The 5600 has had its front end redesigned for less tilting, which, combined with a new hydraulic system, allows more attachments to be fitted.

Its suspension has both f lex and axle oscillation, allowing the machine to turn while the attachment is on the ground. It is driven by a 42 kW Kubota engine and features four-wheel drive and all-wheel steering.

Other features include a 680 kg capacity front loader arm and a rear cargo box capable of handling loads up to 905 kg.

Attachments supported by the redesign includes sweeper, landscape rake, auger and Brushcat systems, while the 103 l/min hydraulic f low enables use of woodchipper, stump grinder and snowblower systems.
