BOOM TIME: Nationwide Access is supplying twelve 60 ft articulated booms to the steelwork contractor on Glasgow's Silverburn retail development. Contractor DK Steel will use 70,000 tonnes of steel to erect the frame on the £80 million project, with completion of the steelwork phase due for November. The Silverburn complex, due for completion in October 2007, will house 1 million square feet of retail and leisure space and will be Scotland's biggest retail development.
