Bourne supermarket gets green light

Anglia Co-operative Society has received approval from South Kesteven District Council to build a new store in Bourne.

The £12 million project will see the construction of a new supermarket as well as three shops and a garden centre.

The junction between South Road and Cherry Holt Road will need to be widened to accommodate the scheme.

There will also be a cafe in the supermarket, which is moving from its current location in Manning Road. The old site will be sold to a housebuilder.
