Bovis grabs 20m Big Mac in Chicago

BOVIS is to manage the 20 million upgrading of the McDonald Corporations headquarters in Chicago.

The main lobby, floor entrance lobbies and elevators will be remodelled. Each floor of the eight-storey, 347,000 sq m building is to be rebuilt with new air conditioning, lighting, ceilings and floor covering. A 100 mm raised floor will be installed for electrical wiring.

Exterior precast panels are to be recaulked and repaired, and a new roof built. A new 1,145 space precast car park will be constructed on the existing car park site with a tunnel to the main building.
