Bovis Homes reports 83pc rise in private reservations

Bovis Homes Group has reported an 83 per cent increase in private home reservations in the year to 13 November.

The firm said in an Interim Management Statement for the period from 1 July that it had sustained strong performance in private reservations.

It achieved 1,488 private reservations in the last 12 months, up from 811 in the same period last year.

The Group anticipates completing about 1,800 homes in 2008, broadly in line with the 1,817 it completed in 2008.

It said in the statement: “Following signs of stabilisation in the housing market in the first half of 2009, the Group has seen further signs of an improving market backdrop.”
