Bovis to manage £220m terminal

Bovis Lend Lease has won a deal to project manage the construction of a £220 million third terminal at Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport for OAO Terminal, part of Russian national airline Aeroflot.
The project, one of Russia's largest civil airport developments, will be managed by a team of 25 people.

The new terminal will be built on a 50 ha site and including 170,000 sq m of buildings and facilities. It will have capacity for nine million passengers a year, in addition to the existing terminals' annual capacity of 12.8 million people.

Main contractor building the terminal is Turkish outfit Enka. Work is due for completion in August 2007.
