Bowmer & Kirkland scoops £210m Ocado distribution hub

Bowmer & Kirkland has been selected to build Ocado’s £210m distribution centre in the West Midlands.

The 370,000 sq m facility will be built on 15 hectares of land at Birch Coppice Business Park in North Warwickshire and will create up to 2,200 jobs.

Bowmer & Kirkland regional director David Horton, said: ““I am over the moon to be working for a client such as Ocado. We are now the main contractor on the two largest and most prestigious end-user distribution centres being built in the UK– the other being at Bridgwater in Somerset.

“This will add to our reputation as an expert in the distribution field and is testament to the efforts and dedication of all our staff who work hard to ensure client satisfaction.”
