The £100 million buy was originally announced last August and gives Wienerberger around a quarter of the market.
The new company is headquartered in Cheadle, Cheshire, with Alan Baxter, former chief executive of Baggeridge, confirmed as CEO.
The combined firm now has 18 manufacturing sites and two distribution depots around the UK. Mr Baxter said: “We are now able to offer our customers a lot more in terms of choice and availability.”
Wienerberger said it may retain the Baggeridge brand name on some lines but Baggeridge will not trade as a separate entity.
