Briggs leaves gap at the top after Cleasby

NORTHAMPTON firm Briggs & Forrester is not rushing to find a replacement for former boss Dan Cleasby.

The £90 million-turnover M&E contractor confirmed that Mr Cleasby left the firm after being on gardening leave for six months.

Group chairman Mike Stanton said: 'He is not with us any more and he won't be coming back. He had been away from the business for more than six months and he stopped working for us at the end of March.'

Mr Stanton declined to say why he had gone and added: 'We have no plans to replace him.We have a good team and we are carrying on as normal.'

Mr Cleasby had been with the firm for 10 years.
