Brighton revamps

BRIGHTON & Hove City Council has given the all-clear to a £45 million scheme to revamp the North Laine area of Brighton under the Private Finance Initiative. The project, which includes a library and public square, has been proposed by developer Mill Group and Norwich Union PPP. Walter Llewellyn will begin on site this September, finishing in summer 2003.
